The position is offered on a contract basis in BPS-20 for an initial period of three years, which may be extended annually based on performance and organizational requirements.

Qualification: Applicants must be retired Brigadiers or equivalent officers from the Armed Forces, preferably from the Fighting Arm, with experience in operational areas, particularly in counter-terrorism. Candidates must also be graduates of the Pakistan Staff College.
Age limit: The maximum age limit for the post is 55 years.
